# Does Dialogflow take into account spelling error or typing mistakes in a coversation?

What if the users make mistakes when writing? Can the words still be recognizable by Dialogflow.  
How to make sure the intents still match, even though there are spelling mistakes?

You can turn on “automatic spell correction” on dialogflow on the agent’s ML settings.

Select an agent and go to the “ML settings” section:

But you should pay attention to the following points when enabling this feature:

- It doesn’t work with Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)
- In any case, you should continue training your NLP by adding commonly mismatched phrases.
- Spell correction can slow down the agent’s answer.
