# How do I trigger a chat, by sending a message to a user

In Bot Framework Proactive Notifications exist so that a chatbot can start a conversation with a user. Is there a similar way I could achieve this on your platform? Ideally I would like my API to make a post (somewhere) that would trigger the notification and start the chat. I could also do it from my web app, driven by a SignalR notification. I am looking to deploy my chatbot in a web app (inside electron), and eventually to Teams and Slack. Any guidance would really help, thanks in advance.

Hi !

At the moment, this feature is not available for multiple users. You can do it one at a time in the interface.

You can then use this API if you want to automate things :
