# How to send data in email notifications

I have appointment details saved in data keys (ex : type of appointment, type of problem, etc). When a customer fills in the questions in my bot, I want to send an email to myself with their answers.

How do I do this ?

In order to send email notifications with data keys (your customers’ answers), there are 4 simple steps to follow :

1. Hover over a bubble and select the lightning icon :  

2. Add a background action :  

3. Select “send an email” :  

4. Enter your sender’s and receiver’s email addresses, a title and the content. Click on data keys to add one :
